Tomorrow, according to forecaster Natalia Didenka, precipitation will cover part of Ukraine.
Before the weekend, December 16, the weather in the western and northern regions of Ukraine will be affected by cyclone Erdmute. It will also bring bad weather to the Vinnytsia region. Forecaster Nataliya Didenko told about it.
“Wet snow with transition to rain is expected there on Friday (because it’s getting warmer), wind gusts up to stormy, the situation on the roads will get worse again,” the forecaster warned.
On the other hand, in the south of Ukraine, in the eastern regions and in most of the central regions, significant precipitation is not expected, says the forecaster. According to her forecast, the air temperature tomorrow will be quite high, during the day it is expected to be 0…+4 degrees, in the south +5…+9, and in Crimea it will warm up to +12 degrees.
“In the future, precipitation will stop, but it will get colder: on Monday-Tuesday, the frosts will intensify and at night it may even reach -12…-17 degrees. But even this will be short-lived, from Wednesday the thermometers will rise again,” Natalia Didenko predicted.
Ukraine was covered by bad weather
As Pogoda reported, a storm warning was issued in Kyiv today. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, strong winds are expected in the capital during the day.
Due to the snowfall, the Kyiv authorities appealed to the drivers. They are asked not to go to the city in their own cars due to the snowfall, and also to let road equipment clear the streets of snow.
Traffic on the border with Poland is also hampered due to bad weather. Queues of cars formed at checkpoints in Lviv and Volyn regions.
