The new Find N2 has a landscape design of the screen similar to its predecessor, and the weight is only 233 grams: it is 42 grams lighter than before; approximately 30 g lighter than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4; and even a few grams lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Oppo claims the new device is the “industry’s lightest” horizontal folding phone. The Green and White versions of the Find N2 gain an additional 4 grams due to the glass coating, but are still lighter than the competition.

Oppo uses a second-generation hinge, as well as a carbon fiber frame (instead of aluminum) for screen flexibility. According to TÜV Rheinland certification, the Find N2 can apparently withstand more than 400,000 bends under normal conditions (doubling the Find N’s record) and more than 100,000 bends at 50°C or down to -20°C. The company also successfully tested dropping the phone from a height of 1.2 meters.

The battery has a capacity of up to 4520 mAh and supports faster SuperVOOC charging with a power of 67 W. Oppo says it will take 10 minutes to charge from zero to 37% or 42 minutes to 100%.
This Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor-based foldable phone has a slightly larger 5.54-inch external display, and while its 7.1-inch flexible screen has retained the same golden 9:8.4 (1792 x 1920) aspect ratio , it has less visible creases along with improved visibility.
To make full use of this large horizontal screen, the company is releasing the Oppo Pen, which supports 4096 pressure levels and has a battery life of 11 hours. The stylus can also be used as a remote control for the camera.
The Find N2 gets a new set of Hasselblad-finished cameras: a 50-megapixel f/1.8 (24mm equivalent) main camera with optical stabilization, a 48-megapixel f/2.2 (14mm equivalent) and a 22 / (47mm equivalent) . There’s also a 32-megapixel f/2.4 front-facing camera located in the upper-left corner of the screen. Thanks to its proprietary MariSilicon X Neural Image Processor, the Oppo Find N2 can also record 4K video and 4K ultra HDR video in ultra-night mode.
Oppo also unveiled the Find N2 Flip with a 3.26-inch screen, which, as the name suggests, is a direct competitor to Samsung’s pocket-sized Galaxy Z Flip 4. This device also packs the largest battery in this form factor at 4,300 mAh as opposed to Samsung’s 3,700 mAh, and supports 44W fast charging.
Oppo product director Pete Lau added that the Find N2 Flip supports dual SIM and dual 5G standby, which is also a first for a small foldable phone thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor. As with the Find N2, the 50-megapixel f/1.8 main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and 32-megapixel f/2.4 front camera get the Hasselblad treatment.
The Find N2 is available in two price tiers: the 12/256GB model costs around $1,150, and the upgraded 16/512GB version costs $1,290. As for the Find N2 Flip, it starts at $860 for the 8/256GB version and tops out at $1,000 for the 16/512GB variant.
Both phones are available for pre-order in China now, ahead of the release of the Find N2 on December 23 and the Find N2 Flip on December 30. The Flip will also be launched in international markets, but Oppo is still evaluating whether to do the same with the larger Find N2.
