Although now they pose an even more terrible threat, destroying all the moral values ​​that have been formed by the peoples of all countries during the existence of mankind… Their money and weapons are nothing in the face of our solidarity, will and faith in our Creator!” Kadyrov wrote.

The leader of Chechnya said that NATO threatens the existence of the whole world, and “Russia, contrary to all Western predictions, has defied this evil and is confidently moving towards victory.” He called on Muslims to “stand with brothers” against a “common enemy”.

Kadyrov’s role in the war against Ukraine

Ramzan Kadyrov actively justifies the war against Ukraine, calls for tougher methods of conducting it and calls himself “Putin’s foot soldier”. His tickers allegedly take a direct part in hostilities, but in reality they play the role of a detachment that does not allow the occupiers to retreat.

However, at the end of October 2022, Ramzan Kadyrov admitted that the war in Ukraine did not go according to Moscow’s plan, and called for the destruction of Ukrainian cities in response to the alleged shelling of the border zone. Later, he announced the continuation of mobilization measures in Chechnya. At a meeting with the soldiers of the SOBR special unit “Akhmat”, Kadyrov said that “subpoenas will begin” in Chechnya.
