The Ministry of Health told what injuries people received during the attack.

As a result of shelling by the occupiers of Kherson, the number of dead increased to 10 people, and another 58 were injured.

The head of the Kherson regional administration, Yaroslav Yanushevich, clarified the data on the number of shelling victims.

“At this moment, we have… 10 dead as a result of the attack on the city center. 18 wounded are in serious condition, he said. Among the wounded is a six-year-old child,” he said.

Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko, who is currently in Kherson, reported that the victims had stomach wounds, head injuries of various degrees, eye injuries, and lower limb amputations.

Shelling of Kherson on December 24

In the morning of December 24, the Russians shelled the center of Kherson. Initially, it was reported that 35 people were injured and 8 died.

Later, Roman Holovnya, the adviser to the mayor of the city, said that the situation in Kherson after the Russian shelling remains difficult. According to him, they fired at places of mass gathering of people – a market, a supermarket.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the morning shelling of Kherson on the eve of Christmas, when there are many people on the street, terror and murder. The head of state emphasized that the world should see and understand what absolute evil Ukraine is fighting against.
