As military expert Oleg Zhdanov told in an interview with TSN, Putin likes what is happening in Ukraine. And this, according to him, is very scary.

“He enjoys it. That’s the scariest thing. Why is it the scariest thing? Because in that sense he has no inhibitions, and he really enjoys the fact that there’s a river of blood pouring out there. It’s very scary. And the scary thing is that the West or not wants to understand this, or pretends that he does not understand. And he plays his own game at the expense of the lives of our citizens and our servicemen. This is the main problem,” the expert explained.

Zhdanov noted that this should become a lesson for Ukraine for the future: if you want peace, prepare for war.

“This should become our national idea after the victory over the Russian Federation,” he emphasized.

According to Zhdanov, the Kremlin dictator may close the borders and officially declare war on Ukraine. However, this can trigger completely different processes.

“It should have been done in the month of March. If he had done it then, maybe the society would have understood him. Although then they all hoped for you, the second army of the world, which can lose only if NATO fully intervenes in this war” , – continued the expert.

In the current realities, according to Zhdanov, Russian society is hardly ready to make such a huge sacrifice – stand against the whole world, close borders, announce general mobilization, etc.
