This is not the first such incident.
Russians stole Ukrainian rapper Skofka’s wartime hit. They reworked the song “Hear the Anthem” and gave it the name “Vystoim”.
“Our comrade-in-arms, a fighter of the “Sparta” battalion, made a cool clip about life and service in front-line Donetsk”, – it says in the description under the video.
It is worth noting that the original song was released in 2022. “Hear the anthem” about the atrocities of the occupiers in Bucha, Irpen and other long-suffering cities. The song also says that Ukrainians will definitely stand up, and no one will be able to “shoot down” the truth.
“The truth is behind us, so we will withstand your shots. The truth is behind us, and it cannot be shot at. The truth is behind us, so we will liberate village after village. The truth is behind us, so we will drive evil out of the valleys,” Skofka sings.
In addition, in the track “Feel the Anthem”, Skofka sings that the Armed Forces will definitely take revenge on the occupiers for all the atrocities.
Russians steal songs of Ukrainian artists
Previously, residents of the aggressor country stole Tina Karol’s song. Simona Kuprina came to the music show “Well, all together!”, where she performed the song “Above the clouds”.
Also earlier, Slava Dyomin shared a video on his Instagram in which the Russian singer performs the iconic song of the late Ukrainian musician Scriabin.
