Representatives of the Russian corporation, using controlled Ukrainian enterprises, established a scheme for the sale of chemical products on the territory of Ukraine.

In Chernihiv Oblast, law enforcement officers uncovered a scheme for the sale of chemical products on the territory of Ukraine, which was established by representatives of a Russian corporation using controlled Ukrainian enterprises.

This was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs on its Facebook page. According to the report, the funds received went to the budget of Russia to finance military aggression.

According to the materials of the Security Service of Ukraine, investigators of the National Police, together with the SBU, under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General’s Office and operative support of employees of the Department of Ensuring Activities Related to Hazardous Materials, are conducting a pre-trial investigation into the fact of the creation of a number of enterprises on the territory of Ukraine in which Russian citizens are involved.

It is reported that a total of 10 enterprises were included in this “pool”. “They received motor oils and other chemicals from the territory of Russia. Here, on the territory of Ukraine, on the basis of their capacities, they packaged and sold the goods. The funds received from the sale were directed to the territory of Russia. The beneficial owner of these enterprises is both on the territory of Ukraine and a large corporation on the territory of Russia is a citizen of the Russian Federation”, – said the head of the Main Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine Yuriy Derevyaga.

Law enforcement officers conducted 14 authorized searches at the locations of production facilities and residences of the suspects. During the investigation, product samples, documents, digital media and storage devices confirming the introduction of financial and economic activities were seized.

“In addition, during the investigation, it was found that during the period of occupation, Russian military personnel and equipment were stationed on the territory of these enterprises. As part of the criminal proceedings, research and establishment of these circumstances is being carried out,” the policeman said.

Currently, the investigators of the National Police, on the basis of the court’s decision, seized the corporate rights and main assets of the main enterprise and transferred them to the National Agency of Ukraine for the detection, search and management of assets obtained from corruption and other crimes.

In the summer, the Security Service of Ukraine reported that a commercial structure in Kyiv transferred almost 8 million hryvnias to the “budget” of the “DNR”.

Earlier it was reported that the ex-head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Oleksandr Yakymenko, was appointed by the Russians as the general director of the “State Security Service of the Kherson Region”. He fled to the Russian Federation after the Maidan.
