The Russian army does not get out of endless exercises, which take place under increasingly loud “legends”.

In Belarus, they began to transfer the army to “wartime” as part of the plan of sudden checks of combat readiness, which is in force in the country. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the country.

“According to the plan of sudden checks of the level of combat and mobilization readiness (…) the Minsk military commandant’s office is carrying out a set of measures for the transition from peacetime to wartime,” the message says.

It is claimed that the main purpose of this event is to test the knowledge of servicemen, as well as to evaluate their actions in order to bring their unit to the maximum combat capability.

The role of Belarus in the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine

Belarus is Russia’s main ally in its full-scale military aggression against Ukraine. The Lukashenko regime granted Russia Belarusian territory for both ground attacks on Ukraine and missile strikes.

Despite the pressure from Moscow, Lukashenko avoids the direct participation of the Belarusian army in the attack on Ukraine. At the same time, Belarus provides Russia with its training grounds for mobilized troops.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces believes that the threat of direct participation of Belarus in the war is minimal. However, the constant exercises of the Belarusian army are aimed at restraining the Ukrainian reserves in this direction, so that they do not go to the front against Russia.
