You can insure an apartment or a house, both owned and rented. The price of insurance is small (about it in the next block), but it covers all the main risks: fire, natural disasters, theft, damage caused by water, explosion, lightning. And relieves the main fears related to property.
How much does insurance cost and what benefits can you get?
The basic package does not depend on the size of the apartment: the apartment can be insured for 490 hryvnias per year, and the house – for UAH 950 for a year. It covers damage from fire, water, leaking pipes and boilers, natural phenomena and malicious acts: theft or even looting.
The limit, i.e. the maximum possible payment, for damage to finishes, plumbing and communications within the limits of this package – UAH 50,000 The limit for damage to furniture and appliances is similar.
The advanced package insures not only your property, but also the property of your neighbors, which may be damaged due to your fault. For example, if you drown someone, the limit for damage to neighbors is UAH 100,000. It also covers damages from a short circuit (limit – UAH 30,000) and cleaning after an insured event (limit – UAH 50,000).
The maximum payout – the sum insured – in the extended package depends on the area of the house. For example, for an apartment with an area of 60 square meters. m, the insurance amount will be UAH 300,000 for the repair of walls, plumbing and communications, and the same amount for the restoration of movable property.

How to get insurance
You can sign the insurance contract online, there is no need to go to the office. You just need to indicate the address on the map, confirm your data and sign the contract via SMS.
The only time you will be asked to prove ownership or tenancy of the home and damaged property is if there is an insurance claim.
What special conditions
If you plan to go somewhere for more than seven days, you need to complete a special “Vacation” package. Its cost is UAH 380. for 30 days. It covers the same set of risks as the basic package.
