On December 29, the Russian Federation used “everything that can move” against Ukraine.
Russia has started using fewer missiles during mass strikes against Ukraine, Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said during a telethon.
He noted that on December 29, the Russian Federation used “everything that can move” against Ukraine: launched “shahedy” and fired from S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems.
“We see that, despite the massive missile attack, the infrastructure of Ukraine has withstood and will definitely stand,” Yusov said.
Yusov noted the reduction of the enemy’s missile potential: “They (the Russians) are incapable of maintaining such a high intensity both in terms of regularity and in terms of quantity.”
Mass shelling of Russia on December 29
Yesterday morning, explosions rang out in Kyiv and a number of other cities and regions. In total, air defense forces shot down 54 missiles out of more than 69 launched. During the air attack, the Russians used various types of missiles in Ukraine, including Kh-31P anti-radar missiles.
Energy facilities came under attack again. After the explosions, part of Kyiv was left without electricity.
According to Yuriy Ignat, a representative of the Air Force Command, during the next massive strike, Russia may use more missiles. It would be wrong to say that the enemy does not have enough funds, Ignat added.
