“Starlinks” will be installed in “Points of Invincibility”, they will also support energy and medical fields.

Ukraine received from Poland the third and one of the largest batches of Starlink since the beginning of the war.

“Starlinks” have already gone to “Point of Invincibility” across the country. Another part is transferred to support the energy and medical spheres. So that Ukrainians can be in touch during blackouts, and critical infrastructure objects can work in the most difficult conditions,” said Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to him, this is the third shipment of Starlink from Poland. Together with previous deliveries, there are about 20,000 terminals.

“The team of the Ministry of Digital Affairs continues to negotiate with SpaceX and partners so that Ukraine receives even more Starlinks,” the minister added.

Starlink in Ukraine: what is known

On December 13, the parliament canceled the legal norm on the payment of VAT and customs duties on the import of generators, Starlink and other equipment.

On December 20, it became known that Ukraine agreed with Elon Musk’s Space Exploration Technologies Corp. to receive more than 10,000 Starlink antennas in the coming months.

Starlink is a project of the American company SpaceX for the development of a high-performance satellite platform for the manufacture of communication satellites and launches of a large number into space. The system provides access to broadband Internet anywhere on the planet.
