“The practical level is at the beginning of crossing the administrative border of 1991, then everything else. When we reached the border of 1991, we can celebrate May 9 as after the end of the Second World War, well, we will have some other date,” – he said.

Budanov noted that this is not the end of all war processes.

“Then we need to restore the country, give an answer, what to do with the people who lived under occupation for 8 years, what to do with those who fought against… Will Russia stop its terror? They can continue to shell the border and launch 2-3 rockets per month … quite a lot of questions,” added the head of the GUR.

Kyrylo Budanov predicted that in 2023, joy and victory in the war with Russia await Ukraine. In his opinion, next year, the Russian Federation will “shine” the transfer of power.

Earlier, the head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense said that the loss of Russia to Ukraine is already a settled issue.

According to the forecast of the British newspaper Financial Times, the war against the Russian Federation will last the whole of next year, since none of the parties to the full-scale conflict will want to freeze it.
