The enemy lost five vehicles and drones, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Special forces of the National Guard have destroyed 12 enemy infantry fighting vehicles in Donetsk region since the beginning of the year.
Opponents are trying to use BMP to break through the defense of Ukrainian soldiers, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
“Thanks to effective work using aerial reconnaissance, UAVs and cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces, 12 BMPs have been destroyed since the beginning of the year…” – the message says.
In addition, five enemy vehicles and two UAVs were eliminated.

On the morning of January 4, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that the enemy is concentrating its efforts on conducting an offensive in the Bakhmut direction and is trying to improve its tactical position in the Avdiyiv, Kupyan and Lyman areas.
