The head of state is convinced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will succeed in expelling the Russian Federation from Donbas and will not allow death to reign in the region.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated that Russia, as a terrorist state, having destroyed the ice arena in Druzhkivka, once again admitted that it brought death to Donbas.

The head of state reminded in the evening address that yesterday Russian terrorists destroyed the ice arena in Druzhkivka in Donetsk region with a rocket.

“This ice arena “Altair” started working even before the war, when Donbas had a normal life before the arrival of Russia. Children trained there. A children’s sports school worked. Hockey competitions were held. People played sports there, celebrated and just enjoyed life. Kramatorsk, Slov “Yansk, Kostyantynivka, Bakhmut, Pokrovsk, Donetsk, Toretsk and other cities and villages of Donbas – everyone knew what kind of arena this was, and many people had been there. Last year, it was used to collect and distribute humanitarian aid,” the president said.

He emphasized that Ukraine will do everything to throw out the tricolor of the Russian Federation from Donbas and other Ukrainian lands.

“The Russian missile against the Altair in Druzhkivka is another recognition of the terrorist state. A recognition of what it came to Donbas with and that we will definitely drive it out of there. Death will not reign in Donbas, and we must do everything to throw out its tricolor from Donbass and other lands of Ukraine,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

As previously reported by , the Russian troops are trying to improve the tactical situation in the Lyman and Avdiiv areas in the east of Ukraine. The enemy does not abandon plans to enter the administrative border of Donetsk region.

Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine since February 24 previously amounted to more than 108,000 personnel.
