Kovalenko emphasized that there may be outages outside the schedule.
On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, the CEO of the Yasno energy company, Serhiy Kovalenko, said that this was the first day when the power supply system worked in full stabilization schedules.
As he noted on his Facebook page, thanks to the efforts of power engineers, the company can now disconnect subscribers not in groups, but using only 5-6 queues in one group.
At the same time, Kovalenko emphasized that there may be outages outside of the schedule.
“Can outages occur outside of the schedule now? Yes, if they are emergency. And there is no need to be surprised: accidents on the lines used to happen, as they do now,” explained the general director of the energy company.
The situation with light in Ukraine
On January 4, NEC “Ukrenergo” reported that electricity consumption in the country is increasing. In order to balance the energy system, consumption limits have been brought to the regions.
At a government meeting, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that against the background of constant Russian missile attacks on the energy system, the Ukrainian government is considering the possibility of creating a decentralized energy system. It will be less vulnerable to Russian shelling, since it is about the construction of mini-power plants and small generation facilities.
At the same time, energy market analyst Maksym Bilyavsky believes that new types of modular and highly maneuverable generation will be built in Ukraine this year. He added that it is currently possible to install 300 MW of wind power plants.
