Putin still maintains a balance between the towers of influence, according to expert Petro Chernyk.
Military expert, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Petro Chernyk said that there is an internal conflict in the Kremlin.
“Prigozhin is no longer just Putin’s cook, he is already quite a large political unit. Prigozhin is actually rolling out a personal army. The fact that the struggle for leverage in the Kremlin has been going on for a long time, which is now entering a new phase, is evidence that Shoigu has also started to create their own separate army. Sooner or later, these poisonous spiders will eat each other, and one of the towers will die. Because it cannot be the case that there is no one to blame for losing the war,” Chernyk explained to Espresso.
According to him, the Russian Federation will collapse due to a military defeat in Ukraine.
“The only question is when the war will logically end. In the Russian Federation, a change of power from below is impossible, that is, some kind of civilian putsch. If a putsch is possible, then only under the strict control of one of the towers. I have no doubt that there will definitely be a mutiny in Russia.” The only question is which tower will do it first. But Putin still keeps the balance between the towers,” the expert added.
Split in the Kremlin: the main thing
As analysts noted earlier, for Putin, the successor is a matter of survival. In Russia, the leader can be forgiven for anything, except military defeat.
There was also information that the oligarch Prigozhin was undermining Putin’s regime. According to the Russian mass media, Prigozhin wants to create his political force, which will aim to revive the Russian Empire.
