It is necessary to ensure that this attempt to advance is the last for the Russian Federation, the advisor of the VP is convinced.

Oleksiy Arestovych, adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, commented on the Russians’ preparation for new offensive operations.

“Russian “mobs”, precisely those who were lucky, who were not immediately thrown to the front, who trained there for 2-3 months, they replenished the personnel units. Now these units are carefully, company by battalion, beginning to be brought to the front. This is not tens of thousands, it’s still tens of thousands. But the process has started, they will accumulate, they are already accumulating,” says Arestovych.

Arestovych noted that Russia has concentrated 200,000 military personnel near Bakhmut, but this number should not frighten Ukrainians, because there are not enough trained fighters among this number of occupiers.

“It is necessary to ensure that this attempt to advance is the last for the Russian Federation. But this is the main task, this very task is currently being discussed by international partners, today there was a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, where all these issues were also discussed, namely, how to do this for the offensive to be the last for the Russian Federation,” added Arestovych.

Arestovych also added that despite the short-sighted minds of the commanders of the Russian army, the occupiers still understood that it was worth abandoning the offensive in the Zaporizhzhia or Kharkiv regions. Russia will throw all its forces at Donbas, says the adviser to the VP.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi previously stated that the next six months will be decisive in the confrontation with Russia. At the same time, Oleksiy Arestovych warned that in January and February, the Rashists will actively advance to seize the initiative on the battlefield.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi also supports the idea that Russia is preparing a large number of soldiers for the offensive. In his opinion, the Rashists will try to storm the capital of Ukraine.
