Mobilization in Ukraine
Due to the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, martial law was imposed on the territory of our country and a general mobilization was announced.
In December 2022, the Armed Forces reported that they are now primarily mobilizing veterans of the Anti-Terrorism and Defense Forces, as well as citizens who have completed military service. The rest of the Ukrainians are also invited, but they are first sent to mandatory training for a minimum duration of 1 month.
Earlier, the advisor of the Office of the President Oleksiy Arestovych said that currently the Armed Forces of Ukraine have about one million people who are ready to fight with weapons in their hands. In addition, Ukraine can conduct additional mobilization, but there is no such need now.
