Geekbench Vulkan
Amazing results were obtained with the “volcano”. The 4070 Ti managed to edge out the 4080 a bit, though that seems more like a statistical error or driver effect. With this API, the Radeon graphics cards show the best results and the RX 7900 XTX beats the RTX 4070 Ti.
Blender Benchmark
The youngest, now, RTX 4000 representative should have belonged to the middle class. But its performance exceeds all limits. Owners of top RTX 3090 flagships will be especially affected. Surprisingly, the MSI RTX 4070 Ti SUPRIM X beats the recent leader of the charts in Blender Benchmark by a quarter.
7144 points is a result unattainable for competitors. It so happened that in work tasks (like Blender) RTX cards have a huge advantage. Therefore, the Radeon RX 6900 XT or RX 7900 XTX cannot offer anything similar. The gap is too wide to call them competitors in this field. For 3D graphics processing, the RTX 4070 Ti is very good, much better than the top RTX 3000 models.
Gaming performance
Checked popular online projects and the most demanding modern AAA games. Tested with various settings in 2K 1440p and 4K 2160p resolution. Toys that have frame generation technology available have used this option. Also played with ray tracing.
Some games with ultra settings (like Portal RTX) should only be taken as benchmarks, because such graphics parameters do not make sense. Is it to check the capabilities of the video card.

A typical representative of single-player games with insane requirements for a video card. This game at the time of release brought all the top graphics cards to their knees. Ultra settings, Ray Tracing, 2160p resolution, DLSS Quality and MSI RTX 4070 Ti SUPRIM X produces 60-70 FPS. On a 2K 27-inch monitor, it is impossible to see the degradation of image quality with DLSS, especially at 2160p. DLSS technology was created for 4K monitors.

Cyberpunk 2077

You can’t say that DOOM Eternal has low system requirements. It’s just a highly optimized game from real gamedev gurus. The game works perfectly at any resolution. There remains a huge margin of ray tracing activation.

You can overcome the track on Formula 1 cars with a comfortable FPS from 60 to 170, depending on the selected options at 4K. Especially for owners of 1440p monitors, there are no performance problems. It is possible to get several hundred FPS with gorgeous visuals. MFS 2020
This is a unique project that has no analogues among all video games. The only project that has the scale of the real Earth. And all this with excellent detail and photorealistic graphics. MFS 2020 is quite picky about the video card, but even more so about the processor. Even the Intel Core i9-13900K often chokes in the toughest scenes with large planes.

PUBG
PUBG Battleroyale game has high CPU requirements. The RTX 4070 Ti draws exactly as many frames as the CPU can handle. The video chip would work a little more if the ultra settings were set. But everyone plays this game only with “eSports” settings that include maximum textures and rendering range. Other settings are minimal. Intel Core i7-10700K is only enough for 150-200 FPS in the most difficult locations.

The Witcher Next Gen
The updated version of the RPG about the white-haired hero has several times higher requirements. It may seem that the game behaves quite adequately, but this is only until ray tracing is included. Cyberpunk 2077 performs much better with RT.
A threefold drop in performance with minimal visual changes. The game begins to freeze (dull), the frametime graph becomes terrible. DLSS saves the situation only partially. FPS increases noticeably, but there is no smoothness. But Frame Generation increases the frame rate and smoothes the friezes in the literal sense of the word, but not as well as in MFS 2020.

Energy consumption and heating
ITC editors have already noted the very low electricity consumption of RTX 4090 and RTX 4080. Children’s horror stories about “600-700W” turned out to be lies. The older ADA models did a great job of staying cool and quiet.
Unsurprisingly, the MSI RTX 4070 Ti SUPRIM X follows in their tradition. MSI’s top cooling has a margin for overclocking or increasing power consumption limits. It’s hard to say how the cheaper Gaming and Ventus versions will fare. But the Suprim X is flawlessly executed.
It should be noted that the whistling of the throttles, which is noticeable in the older models of this line, has finally disappeared. The fans are quiet, the throttles are silent. An exemplary video card of the premium segment, which does not have any technical problems.
Energy consumption was measured during various tests and video games. This graphics adapter consumes less energy than its predecessor RTX 3070 Ti. Despite the fact that productivity has almost doubled. Sensors showed that the RTX 4070 Ti required 200-260W in gaming scenarios. We also measured the consumption of the entire PC using a wattmeter.

Rendering in Blender unevenly loaded the video card. The highest value did not exceed the mark of 300 W.

The personnel generator turns the market situation upside down. This is the best that NVIDIA has released in the last 20 years. It is this technology that allows you to fight the incredible “eating” of FPS due to the activation of Ray Tracing and run the most demanding games in 4K. MSI RTX 4070 Ti SUPRIM X also performs well in work tasks. It is a good choice for professionals for whom the video card is a tool. The quiet and powerful MSI RTX 4070 Ti SUPRIM X does not replace its predecessor RTX 3070 Ti, but only joins the elite RTX 4000 club. The ADA generation seems to have become a higher level of performance, and not a replacement for the RTX 3000, which has become much cheaper. Recommended price $800. In Ukraine, the top Suprim X version from MSI is sold for 48-50 thousand hryvnias. Simpler modifications will cost a little more than UAH 40,000.
