Ukrgazvydobuvannya Oleg Tolmachov became the interim manager, and Ukrtransgaz – Roman Malyutin.
The Cabinet of Ministers replaced the heads of two strategic enterprises of the Naftogaz group, who are temporarily performing their duties.
The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the government. Thus, Oleg Tolmachov, who headed the Naftogaz exploration and production division of the Naftogaz group, became the temporary acting responsibilities of JSC “Ukrgazvydobuvannya”.
According to the press service of Naftogaz, Tolmachov has more than 20 years of experience in hydrocarbon production in North America. He has held senior positions at such US gas production companies as BP America, Chesapeake Energy, EnCana Oil & Gas USA, Eclipse Resources and Montage Resources.
Roman Malyutin, who has more than 20 years of experience in gas transportation and storage enterprises, has been appointed acting head of JSC “Ukrtransgaz”, which is the operator of all Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities.
It is emphasized that Malyutin went all the way from an operator and engineer at the Kegychivsky PSG to the deputy chief engineer of the eastern region of the Operator of the Gas Transportation System of Ukraine.
“Roman Malyutin and Oleg Tolmachov are high-class specialists with significant experience in the oil and gas sector. They are well-versed in global experience, but at the same time, many of them have worked in Ukraine and understand the challenges we are currently facing”, – the press service quotes the head ” Naftogaz” by Oleksiy Chernyshova.

On November 1, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Yury Vitrenko from the post of head of Naftogaz of Ukraine. This decision was adopted unanimously.
On November 3, the government appointed the former minister of community and territorial development Oleksiy Chernyshov as the new chairman of the board of Naftogaz.
