Samsung may have accidentally revealed the date of the upcoming Unpacked event by posting the relevant information on one of its regional sites.
Judging by a screenshot from the company’s Colombian website, Samsung will announce its new flagship line of Galaxy S23 smartphones at the Unpacked event on February 1. This information was soon removed from the site’s pages, although a version from the Wayback Machine archive is still available. Judging by the leak, Samsung promises “epic moments”.

On the Samsung website, it was not directly stated that the Galaxy S23 line will be announced at the upcoming event. It was about registering to “get to know the new Galaxy.” However, it is almost certain that the company will announce the Galaxy S23 series smartphones, since Samsung traditionally presents its flagship devices around this time of the year. The page also shows a triple-camera array similar to that found in the Galaxy S22 lineup, albeit without the raised notch found on the S22 and S22 Plus.

So far, there have been few rumors and leaks about the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphones. The S23 Ultra model is said to have a 200MP camera, which is almost double the previously available resolution of the 108MP camera sensors that have been available since the S20 series. It’s also safe to say that the smartphones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, at least in most countries. It is not known whether Samsung’s flagships will receive the recently announced Snapdragon Satellite emergency satellite communication feature.
