Avalanche Software has adjusted the previously published minimum and recommended system requirements for Hogwarts Legacy. The developers have also added information about the recommended specs for playing at 1440p and 4K with Ultra settings.

The minimum CPU and GPU system requirements have been lowered slightly, but are now targeted at resolution [email protected] with low quality settings instead [email protected] with the same settings. In addition, RAM requirements have doubled from 8GB to 16GB.

- Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 (3.3 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 (3.2 GHz)
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 4 GB or AMD Radeon RX 470 4 GB
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 85 GB free space

The new system requirements of Hogwarts Legacy for PC are a little confusing, especially considering that the game will be released not only for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but also for Nintendo Switch, which has only 4 GB of RAM.
