Through his account on a social network banned in Ukraine, he distributed messages and images justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

The law enforcement officers informed about the suspicion of a resident of Kyiv due to the fact of spreading information that contains justification, recognition of the legitimacy and denial of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office. According to the investigation, in the period from April to May 2022, the suspect, using his own account on a social network banned in Ukraine, distributed text messages and images to an unlimited number of its users, in which the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our country was justified.
“In his notes, the suspect supported and popularized the actions of the occupying country in connection with the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, spread Russian fakes, claimed that “Ukrainians themselves are to blame for everything.” The man also humiliated and negatively represented representatives of state authorities and the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message says.
It is emphasized that the conclusion of the forensic linguistic examination confirms that the texts of the published materials have a propagandistic nature and are aimed at justifying and acknowledging the legitimate armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
During searches of the suspect’s residence, law enforcement officers seized a mobile phone with evidence of illegal activity.
Currently, the fan of “Russian World” has been notified of suspicion under part 2, 3 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of selecting a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect is being resolved.
Russian collaborators in Ukraine
Collaborators and supporters of the Russian Federation who justify, support and facilitate Russian aggression against our country are regularly detained in Ukraine.
In particular, a collaborator who worked for the enemy in the Kherson colony, where Ukrainians were tortured, was detained in Odesa. After the capture of the city, an employee of the Kherson correctional colony voluntarily went over to the side of the occupiers. During the liberation of Kherson, the attacker decided to flee to Odessa, where he tried to “lie down”.
Earlier, law enforcement officers detained a Russian agent who was scouting the positions of Ukrainian air defense in Cherkasy region. He turned out to be an employee of a medical institution, which was recruited by a representative of the Russian special services at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
During a multi-stage special operation in the Kyiv region, SBU counter-intelligence exposed another agent of the FSB of the Russian Federation. The guide of the occupiers turned out to be a resident of Bila Tserkva, who was recruited in December 2022 by a staff member of the Russian special service.
