The confession in defense of “that soldier” was updated, the BBC writes: instead of “Romka and Sanko” from the text of the song, the choir praised “Denis, Igor”.

Officials and strong men in camouflage took part in the rally in the school yard. Mention was made of the “services of the boys during their lives”, and the regional deputy, former commandos and Hero of Russia in a polka dot beret advised schoolchildren to “know heroes by face”.
