The Russian occupiers shelled a part of the Donetsk region with artillery. “Arrivals” were recorded in Avdiivka, Kurakhivka and Stara Mykolaivka in the Kramatorsk district. As a result of the impact, 5 people died, and the same number were injured of varying degrees of severity.
Such information was shared in the press center of the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office on the official Facebook page. The message says: “According to the investigation, on January 14, 2023, the troops of the aggressor state once again shelled the residential quarters of the city of Avdiivka, the village of Kurakhivka, and the village of Stara Mykolaivka of the Illinivsk OTG of Kramatorsk from barrel artillery and the “Grad” MLRS. 5 occupants were killed, and 5 received injuries of varying degrees of severity.
Damage to residential buildings, garages, outbuildings and cars was also recorded. The prosecutor’s office has started pre-trial investigations in criminal proceedings on the facts of violations of the laws and customs of war (parts 1, 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Attack on Ukraine on January 14: basic information

Occupiers attacked critical infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv Oblast and Lviv Oblast. In Kharkiv, emergency shutdowns were introduced and the subway was temporarily suspended.
