The operation was carried out by SZG soldiers in coordination with other units of the Armed Forces.

Operators of special operations forces, together with other units of the defense forces, stopped an attempted Russian offensive near the city of Kreminna, Luhansk region.

As noted in the press service of the SZH, the attack was repulsed despite the fact that the enemy tried to use heavy weapons.

The SZH also showed a fragment of the battle filmed by one of the soldiers. The footage shows that the fight took place in a forest strip. A shooting battle began with the use of other weapons.

The situation in Luhansk region: the main thing

Ukrainian soldiers launched a counteroffensive in the summer of 2022. Separately, defenders of Ukraine liberated more than a dozen settlements in the Luhansk region. The OVA emphasized that the Ukrainian military is gradually advancing towards the city of Kreminna.

The Kremlin fears that Ukrainian fighters will liberate Kreminna. To prevent such a development, the command of the Russian Federation sent several units of paratroopers and tanks to the Luhansk region, but this did not affect the situation.

The Institute for the Study of War indicated that the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are getting closer to Kreminnaya, and the Russian invaders are not able to hold back.
