The premiere of the new season of the series will take place on March 1, 2023.
Disney+ released a new trailer for the third season of the space western “The Mandalorian” from the “Star Wars” franchise.
Judging by the new trailer, the third season will see bounty hunter Dean Jarin (Pedro Pascal) and his promising protégé, the Jedi warrior Grog, also known as Baby Yoda, face threats from the hero’s home planet of Mandalore, as well as visit a lively the planet Coruscant.
The third season will take place after the events of The Boba Fett Book, when Dean Jarin reunited with Grog, after which the two headed to the planet Mandalore to restore Dean Jarin’s honor.
In addition to Pedro Pascal, Karl Weathers (leader of the Bounty Hunters Guild Griff Karga), Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) and Katie Sackhoff (former ruler of Mandalor Bo-Katan Kryse) will return to their roles in the new season. It has also been confirmed that the legendary Christopher Lloyd, known for his role as Dr. Emmett Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy, will play a cameo this season.

Series of the franchise “Star Wars”
In November 2019, the Disney+ streaming service released the first season of the series in the space western genre “The Mandalorian”. This launched a series of series within the Star Wars franchise.
So, in October 2020, the second season of “The Mandalorian” was released, and in December 2021, its spin-off “The Book of Boba Fett” was released. In 2022, the series “Obi-Wan Kenobi” and “Andor” were released.
For 2023, Disney+ has several Star Wars series planned: the third season of The Mandalorian in March, followed by another spin-off series Ahsoka. Also, closer to the end of the year, the release of the TV series “Star Wars: The Minimum Crew” with Jude Law in the lead role is expected.
