According to the State Border Guard Service, several enemy groups tried to bypass the stronghold of the Ukrainian defenders. “The fighters intercepted the maneuver with a shooting battle, and the border guards-mortars and artillery covered the invaders with fire,” the message says.
It is noted that the battle lasted for about two hours, during which time the defenders destroyed five occupiers and wounded seven more.
