The Security Service of Ukraine talked about the versions of the tragedy in Brovary, which are being considered by the investigation. This was reported by the SBU press center.
“Investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine have started a pre-trial investigation into the fact that the helicopter crashed in Brovary, Kyiv region. Currently, several versions of the tragedy are being considered,” the report says.
It is noted that among them are violations of flight rules, technical malfunction of the helicopter and deliberate actions to destroy the vehicle.
“Employees of the SBU are conducting a complex of investigative and operational measures to establish all cause-and-effect relationships and details of the tragedy,” the department emphasized.
The SBU also noted that according to preliminary information, at least 16 people, including three children, died as a result of the tragedy.
As reported, today a helicopter crashed near a kindergarten in Brovary. There were nine people on board, including Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, his deputy Yevhen Yenin and State Secretary Yuriy Lubkovich. They all died.
According to updated data, 16 people, including 3 children, died as a result of the helicopter crash in Brovary. Another 30 people were injured, including 12 children.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the Security Service in cooperation with the National Police and other authorized bodies to find out all the circumstances of the helicopter crash in Brovary.
