Currently, search operations in the city where the helicopter fell are ongoing.
According to detailed information, 16 people died and another 30 were injured as a result of the helicopter crash in Brovary. UNN was informed about this in the President’s Office.
“The data on the tragedy in Brovary have been clarified: 16 people died, including three children. 30 people were hospitalized, including 12 children,” the report says.
It is noted that the search is currently ongoing.

On January 18, an emergency service helicopter crashed near a kindergarten in Brovary, Kyiv region. There were nine people on board: six representatives of the operative group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular, the leadership of the ministry – Minister Denys Monastyrskyi, his deputy Yevhen Yenin and State Secretary Yuriy Lubkovich. All died.
Zelensky instructed the SBU in cooperation with the National Police and other authorized bodies to find out all the circumstances of the helicopter crash in Brovary.
Among the versions of the Brovary tragedies:
- violation of flight rules;
- technical malfunction of the helicopter;
- intentional actions to destroy a vehicle.
