After a Russian missile attack on a residential building in Dnipro on January 14, 2023, people continue to seek medical help. As of January 18, there were already 80 victims.
As Dniprovska OVA reports, 21 adults and three children who were injured as a result of the impact remain in hospital treatment.
“On the day of the tragedy, the vast majority of the injured were brought to us by ambulance teams,” said Oleksandr, deputy medical director of one of the region’s hospitals.
It is noted that this institution received the most victims. Medics helped 32 people. Half of them have already been discharged.
“Nine people were treated on an outpatient basis. Eight patients were sent to the intensive care unit. Now only one woman remains there,” the report says.
It is known that 17 patients remain in this hospital. The lives of none of them are in danger.
“One 19-year-old girl was sent to Lviv. The Ministry of Health together with the relevant regional department agreed on her treatment abroad,” the hospital said.
The OVA emphasized that on the night of the tragedy, more than 10 medical teams worked at the same time in this hospital.
