The majority of Ukrainians consider the blackout due to Russian terrorist attacks on critical infrastructure facilities to be fair and justified.

This is evidenced by the data of the Razumkov Center sociological survey.

On a scale from 0 to 10, Ukrainians rated the fairness of blackouts at 6.1 points. Moreover, 44% of the respondents highly evaluate the fairness of shutdowns – from 7 to 10 points.

Only 17% are not satisfied with the fairness of shutdowns and rate it from 0 to 3.

55% of respondents are satisfied with the actions of the authorities and energy companies regarding blackouts. The average rating of the actions of the authorities and energy companies is 6.6 on a 10-point scale.

We will remind you that since October, Russia began massively attacking Ukraine with missiles and drones. The main target of these attacks were the objects of critical and energy infrastructure.

As a result of the attacks, there was a capacity shortage in Ukraine’s energy system, which led to scheduled and emergency blackouts across the country.
