The loss of this direction by the Ukrainian troops can cause a real catastrophe for Ukraine in this war, say German intelligence officers.
The success of the occupiers in the Bakhmut direction can cause a real disaster for Ukraine in this war, because it will allow the Russians to advance further into Ukraine.
The intelligence service of Germany is inclined to such an analysis and warns that Russia is now throwing all its forces forward to achieve superiority on this part of the front, Spiegel notes in his column.
At the same time, scouts say that the Russian army, as before, does not pay attention to significant losses on its side.
“Russia is currently throwing soldiers forward like cannon fodder, and heavy losses of its own forces obviously do not play any role in the military tactics of the Russians,” said German intelligence.
It is reported that the losses of the parties in the battles near Bakhmut were discussed by the German special service within the framework of one of the secret meetings in the Bundestag. During the discussion, it was announced that the daily losses of Ukraine in the battles near Bakhmut amount to a three-digit number. At the same time, the intelligence agency did not provide official evidence in this regard.
Losses of the Russian Federation under Soledar and Bakhmut
Earlier, the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces talked about the battles with the occupiers, who continue to sacrifice their people in an attempt to take the Bakhmut section of the front under their control. They are said to leave their wounded and dead to freeze right on the battlefield.
Andriy Yermak, the head of the President’s Office, also said about heavy battles in this area. He compared them to the so-called “Verdun meat grinder” because of the huge losses on the part of the occupiers.
At the same time, the former adviser of the VP Oleksiy Arestovych noted that the number of captured Russians near Soledar has increased. This testifies to their failures in direct clashes with the Armed Forces.
Serhiy Cherevaty, the representative of the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Army, also spoke about the “suicidal” tactics of the Russians in Soledar.
