In the occupied part of the Kherson region, the Russian invaders are trying to create a database of the places of residence of civilians.
This is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “The enemy is strengthening the control of the civilian population in the temporarily captured territories of the Kherson region,” the message reads.
In particular, as reported in the General Staff, the adversary is trying to create a database of the places of residence of civilians, threatening to cut off electricity, under the guise of implementing an “electricity saving program”, the so-called “authorities” are taking coercive measures to sign the “act of confirmation of the actual place of residence of a citizen”.
The situation in Kherson
Ukrainian soldiers entered Kherson on November 11, 2022. The Russians attacked the liberated city and the liberated part of the region many times.
Head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Galina Luhova, reported that since November 20, 1,223 “arrivals” have been recorded in Kherson, 65 people have died, including a child. The official added that 38 critical infrastructure objects, 901 residential buildings and 48 educational institutions were destroyed due to enemy shelling.
