The copy turned out to be quite detailed, although not without simplifications.
The cohort of interesting fan creations in Minecraft has a new addition. One of the enthusiasts recreated the location from the first part of DOOM in the game and showed his creation in a video.
The work was noted by a visitor to the Reddit forum under the pseudonym ZeppyTube. He designed Minecraft level E1M1. This is the starting location in the first part of DOOM, which is well known to all fans of the franchise.
The enthusiast tried to sell it with attention to detail. ZeppyTube has selected blocks with a color scheme that reproduces the gloomy style of the level. Since the first DOOM was a pixel game with simple object geometry in keeping with its era, its locations lend themselves well to Minecraft.
The user’s video shows the numerous corridors, transitions and arenas in which the battles are supposed to take place. ZeppyTube arranged lanterns to provide adequate lighting and created zig-zag paths in individual rooms.
Reddit visitors liked the enthusiast’s work. They put 4.6 thousand likes and wrote dozens of enthusiastic comments.
