According to the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Estonia, Volodymyr Lypayev, the West intends to supply Tallinn with modern weapons in order to create a missile defense system.

“It is planned to deliver here (to Estonia – ) the most modern types of conventional weapons capable of keeping St. Petersburg under its sights, a medium-range anti-missile defense system is being created. You involuntarily ask: who is Estonia planning to fight?” – stated the Russian diplomat.

In addition, he accused the Estonian authorities of cave-in Russophobia and Estonianization of the local population using “Jesuit” methods.

In turn, the head of the Foreign Ministry of Estonia, Urmas Reinsalu, said that the Russian ambassador should leave the country before this deadline.

In addition, the Estonian diplomat advocated compliance by the EU countries of the principle of parity in relations with Russia, which implies the same number of diplomats in both countries.

As a sign of solidarity with Estonia, Latvia also reduced diplomatic relations with Moscow.
