Vodafone has once again reviewed the prices for the current line of prepaid SuperNet tariffs — from February 10, subscription fees will increase by an average of 20%, while the volume of mobile Internet will increase by 20%-50%.
The full-scale Russian invasion caused a lot of negative changes, including in the market of telecommunications services – in July, even before the start of mass attacks by missiles and drones on the energy infrastructure, the World Bank estimated the losses of the Ukrainian telecom market at $2.6 billion. Vodafone justifies the increase tariffs by the need to cover the costs of equipment modernization and infrastructure renewal in the regions of hostilities, which are becoming increasingly large. At the same time, the company noted an increase in the use of mobile Internet. It can be recalled that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, Vodafone has changed the cost of SuperNet subscription tariffs for the second time – on July 1, 2022, their cost increased by an average of 20%.
The other day, the operator started sending relevant service SMS to subscribers and informing about changes.

How will the conditions and subscription fee in Vodafone SuperNet and Joice subscription tariffs change
On February 10, subscription fees will increase by an average of 20%, while the volume of mobile Internet will increase by 20%-50%, depending on the tariff.
- The cost of the basic Vodafone SuperNet Start will increase from UAH 145 to UAH 175/month, and the amount of mobile Internet will be 15 GB instead of 10 GB.
- Medium plan Vodafone SuperNet Pro will include 30 GB of mobile Internet instead of 25 GB, and its cost changes from UAH 205 to UAH 245/month.
- Top rate Vodafone SuperNet Unlim increases the volume from 50 GB to 60 GB, and the price changes from UAH 300 to UAH 360/month.
- Tariff Joyce increases the amount of mobile Internet from 10 GB to 15 GB, and the price changes from UAH 135 to UAH 170/month.
Given the reality, further price increases are expected in the near future. And this applies not only to Vodafone subscribers. From December 1, 2022, for the first time since the beginning of the war, “Kyivstar” increased the prices of a number of subscription and contract tariffs by 1.5 times (individual plans increased in price to UAH 250/month) and continues to systematically change the conditions and cost of older tariffs. It seems that UAH 175/month is the new standard for the basic subscription rate with Ukrainian operators. On contract tariffs, the entry threshold is somewhat lower. Also, operators sometimes offer subscribers personal promotional tariffs at reduced prices.
