Tango Gameworks – the Bethesda studio known as the creator of The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo series – has announced the release of Hi-Fi Rush. This is a rhythm-action adventure “in which everything is fueled by music.”
The player has to explore a bright animated world and destroy villains and robots on his way. You’ll need to manage budding rock star Chai and his crew to challenge an evil mega-corporation. You can achieve greater success if you perform hits in time with the music.
“During an illegal experiment in the corporation, a player was mistakenly soldered to Chaya’s heart, and therefore the boy was recognized as a defective sample. Now he has to fight for freedom in a bright animated world, where everything obeys the rhythm of music – puzzles, enemies, even pranks and brawls! – it is stated in the description of the project.
In Hi-Fi Rush, objects around the world pulsate to the beat of the music, which looks like it will really add interest to the game. The project uses licensed music from real bands like The Black Keys and Nine Inch Nails.
