At the same time, the graphics processor is mostly located on a relatively short board. Alphacool has a solution that allows you to place a performance flagship in just one PCI-E slot.

YouTube channel Optimum Tech published a video review of the smallest 4090 water block currently available – the Alphacool ES Geforce RTX 4090. The cooler in question, model 13395, is currently compatible with video cards from only a few manufacturers: Inno3D ICHILL (featured in the video), KFA2 and Galax RTX 4090 SG .

There are plenty of other RTX 4090 waterblocks out there, including several single-slot options from EKWB, but none quite as compact as this Alphacool model. Of course, when placing you need to consider the radiator, fans and other components of the liquid cooling circuit.

Such an opportunity is quite interesting: replace one professional card worth $6,000 or more with several consumer-level cards. Still expensive for the average user, but may be interesting for professional work with AI, 3D rendering or other activities related to calculations or processing large amounts of data.

NVIDIA RTX 4090 broke the performance milestone of 100 TFLOPS after the GPU was “unleashed” to 3.15 GHz – 14 years after Radeon HD 4850 took the 1 TFLOPS mark
