In the Kherson region, rescuers helped a boy free his arm from a hollow tree.
As reported on Facebook by the State Service for Emergency Situations, the number of the Rescue Service of the city of Kherson received a message that a child was in need in the village of Shiroka Balka.
“As it turned out, the 9-year-old boy was collecting money and decided to hide his savings in the hollow of a tree. He stuck his hand into the crack, but he was unable to get it back. All attempts were in vain, the hand began to swell,” the State Emergency Service said.
It is noted that the rescuers freed the boy’s hand with the help of a special tool. “Fortunately, he was not injured, but he promised to keep the money in a safer place,” the State Emergency Service reported.
