Among the main advantages of the tax reform, the CEO Club notes the reduction of tax rates.

Members of the Ukrainian association of business leaders CEO Club Ukraine published an open letter in support of the implementation of the anti-corruption tax reform proposed by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

As noted in the text of the joint statement, club members fully support the government’s initiative to create conditions under which law-abiding entrepreneurs will increase their competitiveness on world markets, and corruption and tax “optimization” schemes will be unnecessary.

Among the main advantages of the tax reform, the CEO Club emphasizes the reduction of VAT rates, taxes on personal incomes and corporate profits, as well as increased responsibility for tax evasion, provided that the discretionary powers of the State Tax Service are simultaneously limited.

Thanks to this, the club’s letter says, business will be able to attract a larger amount of investment, increase turnover and export sales, raise employees’ salaries and create additional jobs, and the state will achieve a significant level of detinization of the economy and reduction of corruption in fiscal bodies.

“We call on the authorities to continue consultations with business on the topic of a competitive configuration of the tax reform,” CEO Club members concluded in their statement.
