32% of surveyed Russians are waiting for the “accession” of new territories of Ukraine.
86.7% of Russians are ready to experience the continuation of the war in Ukraine within the next two years.
At the same time, 45% believe that the war will last six months to a year, 28% – 1-2 years. 13% expect the end of the war in the next six months, Russian mass media report, citing research by the Polilog consulting group.
The majority of surveyed Russians (about 70%) are convinced that Russia will be able to keep Crimea and the territories of Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, whose annexation attempt was announced in September. 32% of respondents are waiting for the “joining” of other territories of Ukraine in the future. Only 9% expressed the opinion that all territories will return to Ukraine.
About half (52%) of those polled believe that the war will end with “regime change in Ukraine in favor of Russia.” 38% are waiting for the “demilitarization of Ukraine”.
Regarding the consequences of the war, 77% of Russians are confident in the strengthening of Russia’s international authority. In addition, after the war, according to 54% of Russians, there will be a “unification of Russian society.” 59% expect that Russia will restore relations with “unfriendly” countries, 75% expect the return of foreign companies that left, another 60% do not believe in the isolation of the country from the world economy after the war.

Earlier in January, The Wall Street Journal, citing data from a closed survey by the Russian Public Opinion Foundation, reported that shortly after the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia in September, the level of support for the war fell to 34%, but soon it increased significantly – to 80%.
A former Kremlin official also told reporters that internal polling on the war suggests Russians will endure another round of mobilization.
