On the evening of Thursday, February 2, 2023, the body of a dead woman was recovered from the rubble of a residential building in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, which was fired upon by the Russian occupiers the day before. Thus, the number of victims of that strike increased to 4.
“Rescuers retrieved the body of a dead woman from under the rubble,” Kramatorsk Mayor Oleksandr Honcharenko said on Facebook.
Earlier, he said that Wednesday and Thursday were tragic days for Kramatorsk. During these days, 51 high-rise buildings were damaged in the city as a result of the attacks of the Russian invaders. In addition, 3 people died and 14 were injured. Some of the injured are serious.

On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, Russian invaders shelled Kramatorsk. The enemy got into a residential building in the center of the city. The head of Donetsk OVA, Pavlo Kyrylenko, said that the building was completely destroyed as a result of the attack.
Later, the General Prosecutor’s Office reported that eight civilians were injured and two were killed as a result of a Russian rocket hitting the house.
Already on February 2, the rescuers emphasized that they retrieved the bodies of three dead people from under the rubble of the house destroyed by the Russians. In addition, two people were rescued.
