The screen, which Samsung calls Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display, is already used in Galaxy smartphones. The designation 2X indicates a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel received a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The display is larger than the Galaxy Book2 with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The natural advantages of AMOLED are bright colors, wide viewing angles, short response times and deep blacks.
On February 1, the classic Galaxy Book3 Pro laptops with 14-inch and 16-inch screens, as well as the 16-inch Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 transformer, are presented.
The Galaxy Book3 360 convertible laptop, which was not discussed at today’s presentation and was discovered by the author of this news, also appeared in the official Samsung store. Its main difference is a screen with a Full HD resolution and a diagonal of 13.3″ or 15.6″, as well as only two speakers for sound reproduction.
Previous Galaxy Books were considered among the best ultraportable laptops. They’re lightweight and, as you’d expect from Samsung devices, have very nice screens. New screens with a higher resolution and a higher refresh rate will contribute to a better perception of multimedia, the performance of Intel 13th generation processors will be shown in future tests.
The laptops are available in graphite and beige colors. Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro will cost from $1449.99, Book3 360 Pro model – from $1699.99, Book3 360 – from $1299.99. They are available for pre-order now, with direct sales starting on February 17th. Unfortunately, the Book3 line will not be officially sold in Ukraine.
