The ChatGPT neural network has gained 100 million active users in just two months since its launch.
ChatGPT, the popular chatbot, became the fastest service application in history – its monthly audience reached 100 million in just two months. And this despite the fact that it does not yet work in all countries and natively supports only the English language.
For comparison, TikTok reached such indicators only after nine months, and it took Instagram 2.5 years, writes Engadget.
The report said that ChatGPT averaged about 13 million unique users per day in January, more than double the number in December.
- OpenAI’s ChatGPT took the internet by storm late last year.
- This is a free chatbot that can easily and confidently answer complex questions, as well as write prose, poetry or computer code on command.
- ChatGPT works on the basis of generative AI, which creates new content after learning on huge amounts of data.
At the beginning of February, OpenAI announced that ChatGPT will have a paid version for $20 per month – the service will be called ChatGPT Plus. Subscribers will get reduced response times, priority access even during peak hours, access to new features and chatbot improvements.
And recently, Microsoft began experimenting with the integration of technology in Word and the Bing search engine, and also confirmed rumors of “multibillion-dollar investments” in the project.
At the same time, Google is seriously concerned about the possibilities of ChatGPT and is preparing up to 20 new AI products that will be presented by the end of the year.
