Dishonored: Death of the Outsider takes place in the same fictional world as Dishonored and Dishonored 2. The heroes of the game are hired assassins Dowd and Billy Lark. Billy travels to the city of Karnak to kill the Alien, a god-like being he believes is responsible for the worst moments in the empire’s history. City of Gangsters is a strategy in which economic management and criminal activities are intertwined. The plot unfolds in Atlantic City in the 1920s – during Prohibition in the USA. Due to the ban on any alcohol, the mafia was able to take full advantage of this for their own enrichment, opening underground bars, wine cellars and distilleries. The player has to climb up the ladder of the mafia world. Starting from the bottom, the character must establish himself in the criminal world by buying businesses and attacking the businesses of his rivals in order to achieve his “American Dream”.
