The mayor of Sloviansk, Donetsk region, Vadym Lyakh, said that the city’s residents should be ready for a possible evacuation to a safe place. This question may be relevant in case of approaching the front line.
As he noted on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel, the Russian occupation forces are now shelling Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and Druzhkivka from a short distance. This makes it difficult to track missiles and poses a serious danger to the civilian population.
Lyakh emphasized that the situation in Sloviansk is now stable. The town has electricity, gas and water.
“However, today we see that the front line is slow, but approaching. This poses a danger to all the cities that are nearby. The closer the front line is, the more shelling there will be,” Lyakh added.
The situation in Donetsk region
The Ukrainian military continues to inflict losses on the enemy army in the Donetsk direction. More than one and a half dozen Russian tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery systems and at least two battalions of enemy infantry were destroyed there.
At the same time, in the temporarily occupied Donetsk, among the Russian invaders, the number of diseases with particularly dangerous infections has increased significantly. The situation may be a violation of sanitary standards.
But in the direction of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, a “tense calm” is observed. The Russian occupiers are preparing to conduct a full rotation of “mobs” on the regular troops of the Russian army.
