Tinder will allow you to view profiles of people you like

Tinder’s incognito mode will hide your profile from people you’ve added to the “dislike” category – although you need to sign up for this.

Unrecognizable

Tinder, the popular mobile speed dating app, has announced the launch of an incognito mode on its blog, which you can use to scroll through profiles without showing up in the recommendation feed if you don’t like them. Meanwhile, the platform’s algorithm recommends you to other members regardless of whether you swiped left or right on their photo (this is how Tinder likes/dislikes).

Access to the incognito feature is only available with a Tinder Plus, Gold, or Platinum subscription, all of which have different costs based on user age and subscription length.

Profile display can be turned off for free, but even then you won’t be able to view other users.

Another new feature on Tinder (free) is contact blocking, which comes in handy if you don’t want to see an ex or colleague on the platform.

Among the safety features being rolled out on Tinder is the notification of offensive messages by “long pressing” on a text. Also, the application itself will offer the request “Does this bother you?” in case it recognizes harmful or unacceptable words in correspondence.

Launched in 2012, Tinder is now the world’s most popular dating app, with over 530 million downloads. The program is available in 190 countries and 45 languages. The age of more than half of the users is 18-25 years.
