At the moment, the West has intensified military aid to Ukraine in order to help the Armed Forces launch a counteroffensive, he believes.
Former adviser to the Office of the President, Oleksiy Arestovych, predicted when the “time of crisis” will come for the Russian army in Ukraine, which will allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to return Crimea.
As Arestovych said on the air with Russian blogger Mark Feigin, the occupiers will “breathe their last breath” already at the end of April, which will allow Ukrainian troops to launch a counteroffensive.
“Crisis time for Putin’s regime is from the end of April to July, somewhere in this period,” he said.
According to him, the West is now doing everything to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine use this turning point to their advantage and launch a counteroffensive.
“Then there will be visible and bright victories,” Arestovych announced.
He predicted that after April, Ukrainian troops will reach the borders of the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula and begin to “take out” Russian warehouses and bases. After that, the mass flight of the occupiers from the peninsula will begin.
“We are facing a picture of a mass flight from Crimea and Putin will have to make a decision. For what? A nuclear war? How the hell are you going to wage a nuclear war if you don’t have an economy,” Arestovich doubted.
He also noted that Putin simply does not have enough troops to secure his “nuclear strikes”.
Liberation of Crimea by Ukrainian troops
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, official Kyiv has repeatedly said that this war will not end until the Russian troops return to the borders of 1991 – the period when Crimea belonged to Ukraine.
In January, the mass media learned that the American authorities could provide the Ukrainian side with the weapons necessary for the complete de-occupation of the peninsula. The government of Kyiv is also preparing for the return of the peninsula. The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine is preparing a personnel reserve for the de-occupied peninsula in the future.
Meanwhile, Russian troops are afraid of a possible breakthrough of the Armed Forces into the territory of the peninsula. The Russians are actively building their military bases in Crimea.
