Young Ukrainians who, due to a full-scale Russian attack, were forced to leave their homeland and move to Poland, can issue their first citizen’s passport in the form of an ID card upon reaching the age of 14. The corresponding service is available in separate divisions of SE Dokument in Poland.
You can issue an ID card in one of the branches in Warsaw, Krakow, Gdańsk and Wroclaw. For this, it is necessary to submit the following documents:
- Birth Certificate;
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine of one or two parents;
- certificate of residence registration (if available);
- RNUKPN (registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card) or a notice of refusal to approve it (if available).
A person from 14 to 18 years of age who has a registered place of residence — when issuing a passport, may, if desired, submit a request to receive an RNUKPN with subsequent display in the passport.
Acceptance of applications for registration of passport documents is possible both by appointment and on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment for the company’s services is made directly on the spot – using the online payment service. For this, you should have a smartphone and a bank card or its details. Cash payment is not yet available.
For the first time since the age of 14, the ID card is issued within 20 working days. When receiving a ready-made ID card, a verification procedure is carried out, so the presence of the person in whose name the document is issued is mandatory.
In the event that a citizen does not receive a passport within three months from the date of its receipt at the “Passport Service” center, the completed document is returned to the territorial division of the State Security Service for further storage.
